Distance Learning Students 

To access the Library electronic resources remotely you need to be enrolled at the University for the current semester and login via OpenAthens  (use the OpenAthens guide for instructions).   

Distance Learning Faculty 

To access the Library electronic resources remotely use your UNIC email address and password to sign in (use the OpenAthens guide for instructions).  

 

Once you are connected via OpenAthens you are able to access all of the Library electronic resources. The available e-resources and tools can be found below:  

Discovery service for searching simultaneously most of the Library resources, both electronic and print. (The search box found on the top of the Library home page). 

Book collections from various vendors/publisher 

eJournal collections from various publishers, also includes individual titles of Greek e-journals (section Other Individual eJournal Titles ) 

Specialized collections of sources (e.g. journal articles, conference proceedings, book chapters etc.) focusing on a certain subject area - organized alphabetically and by subject 

Reference management tool that allows you to compile, edit and format bibliographies.

How to Sign In (Library website) 

 It is very simple to login via OpenAthens. You just need to click on the desired resource (database, eBook,eJournal) found on the library website and login using your UNIC email and password. 

 Below you will see an example on how you can gain access using the UNIC Library Search, the tool that allows you to search simultaneously most of the library resources.
