UNIC Library About Us
The University of Nicosia Library and Information Centre comprises of three campus libraries: the University of Nicosia Main Library, University of Nicosia Athens Library and the University of Nicosia Health Library. These libraries provide a pleasant environment, conducive to study and learning, with individual study carrels and areas for group study.
Combined, the three libraries have dedicated areas for circulation services (both for face-to-face and distance learners), seating capacity for 426 students, networked computers, wireless internet access, scanner/photocopiers and house collections of print books, newspapers, journals and legal reports; all encompassed in 1,910m2 of library space.
The UNIC Library and Information Centre demonstrates its commitment to academic excellence through a strong service orientation and being client focused. It is an academic library that not only provides support for teaching, learning and research within the academic institution for both faculty and students but, also, plays an important part in society. UNIC Library and Information Centre provides high quality resources and services that create opportunities for learning, support literacy and education, and helps shape new ideas and perspectives that are central to a creative and innovative society.
