Information for Faculty
All required & recommended books and lecturers notes for each course must be submitted online using the Book Order Form, which can be found on the faculty intranet. Required & recommended book orders go through at the beginning of each semester.
In accordance to the Senate, there must be at least one required electronic book
Before submitting the form, please check Library Catalogue (UniCAT) for print books and electronic book databases to see if the library already has the books.
Faculty also has access to Inspection copies of the required print books:
- Loan period
- Full-time: duration of the course
- Part-time: 3 months
- Collected from the library & Collection form completed

Research & Memberships (For full-time faculty only)
Full-time faculty are entitled to a yearly budget for personal research (300 Euro). The budget runs from 1st July – 31st June, not transferable. It can be used in 3 different ways:
- For membership with a Professional Body (APA, ETEK, etc)
- For orders of books relevant to your research
- For Interlibrary Loans (please contact Christina Papadopoulou email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org)
The library provides a variety of trainings, throughout the year, on using the library and its resources. The trainings can be either on a one-to-one basis or as a group.
Faculty can also book trainings for their student (it is required that you accompany your students during these sessions). There are different levels of trainings (1st year, Master, PhD, RefWorks). When arranging a training session, please, provide the following information:
- Class Code
- Number of students
- Topic areas
