Transformative Agreements – Read & Publish Agreements
As part of the negotiations with the publishers for the subscription renewals, the Cyprus Libraries Consortium has reached the following transformative agreements to support open access. The agreements include the following eight (8) publishers:

The agreements in detail:
The ultimate online resource for IT professionals and students. The ACM Digital Library (ACM DL) is the most complete collection of full-text articles and bibliographic records covering the fields of information technology and information technology.
The agreement provides unrestricted access for all authorized users to 11,236 full-text electronic journals in the ACM digital library. Unlimited open access publications in the entire catalog of ACM journals, conferences and journals are also included.
The period of validity of the agreement is from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2026. It covers the research subjects of computers and computer engineering. Eligible journals are all ACM hybrid journals and eligible articles are all peer-reviewed research articles published in ACM journals and conference proceedings.

Cambridge University Press publishes more than 400 electronic journals in the following subject categories: engineering, architecture, computer engineering, mathematics, agriculture, animal sciences, aquatic sciences, ecology, and environmental sciences.
The period of the agreement is from January 1, 2021 until December 31, 2023. Through the agreement, the researchers of the participating institutions are given the opportunity to publish in hybrid journals. There is no limit to the number of articles per year.

Emerald publishes more than 300 journals in the following subject areas: accounting, engineering, business, health, education, marketing, tourism management and hospitality.
The agreement period is from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2024. The agreement allows researchers from participating institutions to publish in open access and hybrid journals. There is a limit to the number of articles per year. All the founding members of the consortium participate in the agreement.

Oxford University Press publishes more than 380 online journals in biology, nursing, economics, banking, finance, investment, shipping, business law, tourism and statistics.
The agreement period is from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2024. The agreement allows researchers from participating institutions to publish in open access and hybrid journals. There is a limit to the number of articles per year.

SAGE publishes more than 1,120 electronic journals in the social sciences and humanities, health sciences and biomedical sciences, engineering and natural sciences.
The period of the agreement is from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2024. Through the agreement, the researchers of the participating institutions are given the opportunity to publish in hybrid journals by paying the amount of 200€. There is no limit to the number of articles per year.

Taylor & Francis Group is a UK-based international company that publishes books and academic journals. It is a multi-scientific publishing house that covers the following topics: humanities and social sciences, science and technology, engineering, medicine and healthcare.
The agreement provides unlimited access for all authorized users to 1,531 Taylor & Francis full-text electronic journals in various areas.
The period of the agreement is from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2024. Corresponding authors based at participating institutions may be eligible to publish gold open access in Taylor & Francis and Routledge Open Select (hybrid) journals at no extra cost. The number of articles per year is limited and is based on the previous years’ statistics.

Wiley Publishing is an American multinational publishing company founded in 1807 and focusing on academic publishing.
Wiley provides access to more than 1,429 e-journals and 22,570 e-books in the following areas: life, health and physical sciences, social science, and the humanities.
The period of the agreement is from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2024. Corresponding authors affiliated with participating institutions may publish open access in any of Wiley's hybrid journals (subscription-based journals which offer an open access option) at no charge to the author.
The number of articles per year is limited and is based on the previous years’ statistics.

Springer Nature is a world leading research, educational and professional publisher created in May 2015 through the combination of Nature Publishing Group, Macmillan Education and Springer Science+Business Media.
If you are a corresponding author affiliated with a participating institution within the Cyprus Libraries Consortium (CLC), the agreement reached means you can publish your article open access with fees covered. In addition, you can enjoy full access to all Springer, Adis, Palgrave and Academic Journals subscription journal content.
This agreement covers open access publications in Springer, Palgrave & Adis hybrid journals on SpringerLink, and Academic Journals on Nature.com.
