The Library is equipped with more than twenty computer terminals, through which users have access to our on-line catalog InterCAT – a world known product of automated library system by Ex Libris, which meets all aspects of our information and management needs.

A number of terminals are available for accessing both our on-line databases as well as the internet. This enables users to locate thousands of articles in abstract or full-text form. Off-campus access is also available which enables users to have access to all electronic resources. You can link to all the university materials from home.

For wireless connection you can pick a Wi-Fi card from the Circulation Desk after you hand in your ID card.

Two TVs and DVD players are available in the library as well as a number of tape recorders. These enable students to use audiovisuals which are not loaned out.

Visually Impaired

There is also a specific setup for serving visually impaired students.
Using dedicated computer hardware and software (SuperNova), people who are visually impaired can view large-type renditions of digital material on the large monitor or listen through headphones as a computerized voice reads the information. The system supports Greek, English and numerous other languages.
